GW has organizations for both undergraduates and graduates students who are interested in real estate. The club host events throughout the academic year, including speakers, and panelist, site visiting and training.

Below are a number of local, national, and global real estate organizations that offer student memberships.

Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM)

Begin building your professional network in college by joining CCIM . Student Membership ate $50  open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students.

 

CoreNet Global

For corporate real estate. Student memberships are $25/year. 

Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW)

Members join individual chapters, located throughout the U.S. The Washington D.C. chapter.  Student memberships are $105/year. (Note that this membership is for a calendar year and they don’t prorate the fee. Best to join in January if interested. 

Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC)

For those interested in retail real estate. Student memberships are $50/year.

 

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

 For surveyors. Student memberships are free.

Urban Land Institute (ULI)

A global network of real estate and land-use professionals in a variety of disciplines. Student memberships are $120 a year. 

Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR)

The SIOR Foundation supports programs for students interested in pursuing careers in commercial real estate, including global and chapter-level scholarships, educational programming, and mentoring.
